Consulting Psychology Ethics in the Emerging World Environment

This session will address ethical issues in the practice of consulting psychology (CP). It uses case examples from the presenters and from participants to address ethical principles and standards as applied to CP. Suggestions for addressing and resolving ethical issues are also discussed.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand at least 2 different types of ethical issues that arise in the practice of consulting psychology;
  2. Practice applying the APA ethics code to case material;
  3. Understand at least 3 ways to prevent/avoid or to address ethical issues in CP.

NOTE:  Participants that register by June 9, 2018 will be sent materials to solicit case materials to use during the webinar.  Any registrations from June 9 – June 16, 2018 are not guaranteed to have their cases included.
