Unmasking Implicit Racial Bias: AN INTERACTIVE DIALOGUE
Friday, December 04, 2020, 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM PDT
Category: Events

Ryan C. Warner, Ph.D., CRC
Presenter

Implicit bias refers to the unconscious attitudes or stereotypes that affect our understanding, actions, and decisions. These biases are activated without our awareness or intentional control. Implicit bias impacts our daily lives, our communities, and our workplaces. If we are able to gain additional information on how our biases affect our interactions with others, then we can improve our ability to enhance organizational effectiveness, strengthen team performance, and promote more respectful workplaces and communities. Come join Dr. Warner where he will help participants improve their awareness of implicit bias, learn more about the impact of biases, and discuss ways to create more inclusive and respectful environments. This virtual session will be interactive throughout to provide an optimal learning experience.
